An impressively rich single malt whisky from the Spirit of Hven distillery in Sweden, named after the renowned astronomer Tycho Brahe and the supernova he discovered back in 1572. Interestingly enough, Brahe actually lived on the small Island of Hven back in the late 1500s! The Spirit of Hven distillery was founded in 200 becoming the third pot-still distillery in Sweden and the smallest pot-still distillery in the world. This is a medium peated well matured Swedish single malt whisky, made from grain to bottle in the small family owned distillery Spirit of Hven, situated on the island of Hven, in the strait between Denmark and Sweden.
